Acting RA Minister of Economic Development and Investments Tigran Khachatryan met with Country Manager of the World Bank for Armenia Sylvie Bossoutrot, on October 25.

Sylvie Bossoutrot congratulated Tigran Khachatryan on appointment and wished him success in this responsible work.

In his turn, the acting Minister thanked Sylvie Bossoutrot and emphasized that it had always been a pleasure for him to cooperate with the World Bank.

During the meeting the acting Minister and the Country Manager of the WB discussed the developments over new cooperation framework with Armenia. They also talked about the works carried out within the framework of the “Trade Promotion and Quality Infrastructure”.

The sides also discussed the activities aimed at improving Armenia’s position in the World Bank’s Doing Business report and the expectations from it.
