RA Minister of Economic Development and Investments Tigran Khachatryan received a delegation led by the chief economist of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Joao Ferrara Fernandez, to discuss government-private partnership (PPP) legislative package.

During the meeting, Minister Khachatryan touched upon the details of the lawmaking process, as well as other relevant legal documents, discussed a number of organizational issues. The sides exchanged views on the process of PPP coordination.

Joao Ferrara Fernández praised the cooperation and noted that he was pleased to work with the Ministry responsible for the development of the PPP legislative package, which is headed by Deputy Minister Avag Avanesyan.

A roadmap for the development and adoption of the legislative package has been presented.

The sides confirmed that the process needs to be completed within the shortest terms possible within the coming months.

The ADB team also discussed issues related to training and capacity-building with the Minister, offering several options for the solution. The sides agreed to continue close cooperation between the Ministry and the mission.
