TITLE: PPP Legal Specialist

LOCATION: Yerevan, Armenia

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Public-Private Partnership (PPP) Legal Specialist will assist in designing and structuring the PPP implementation framework in Armenia

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implementation of PPP Methodologies concerning contract terms, contract management, monitoring and risk allocation of large infrastructure projects;

• Provide with legal opinions and legal assistance on matters related to project development;

• Contribute to the development of a Management Information System or a database of relevant legislative, regulatory and global best practice material;

• Legal due diligence of existing PPP projects;

• Identify and retrieve regulatory information necessary to support decision-making;

• Contribute to the development of PPP Methodologies;

• Perform other tasks as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree in Law;

• Good knowledge of Contract Law/Financial Law/Business Law/Procurement Law;

• Previous financial, Banking and/or contract drafting experience would be considered as an advantage;

• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills;

• Excellent knowledge of English (written and verbal);

• Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);

• Effective interpersonal and communications skills; ability to communicate complex ideas effectively both verbally and in writing

• Ability to interact with various levels and groups of an organization (experts, supervisors, top management);

• Desire and curiosity to learn new things;

• Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities, tasks and deadlines; time management skills.
