On October 13 Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan met the president of the Armenian-Lithuanian joint venture Armlita Gagik Papyan. The meeting was also attended by the chairman of the Union of Poultry Breeders of Armenia Sergey Stepanyan.

Gagik Papyan presented the investment projects, which are planned to be implemented in Armenia. The projects include the sectors of poultry farming, animal husbandry, feed, production of organic fertilizers.

Minister Karayan briefly presented the investment policy and the opportunities, which open ways of cooperation as a result of public-private partnership.

Parties also referred to the public-private partnership, administration issues and existing problems in the banking system.

During the meeting an agreement was reached on the preparation and signing of the cooperation memorandum.
