On October 13, the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of the Republic of Armenia Suren Karayan received the Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan Shavkat Bobozoda.
Greeting the guest, Minister Karayan briefly represented the activity of the Ministry, spoke about trade turnover indices between two countries.
“Our countries can cooperate in so many fields, including light industry, high technologies, carpet weaving, etc. There is a good opportunity to outline the means of cooperation and launch corresponding activity intensively,” said Minister Karayan.
Shavkat Bobozoda expressed gratitude for invitation and welcome. Representing the activity of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Minister Bobozoda spoke about cooperation of mutual interest and stressed the importance of creation of a working group which will enable the cooperation implementation in specific fields.
Issues on import and export, production, transportation problems, access of Armenia to the EU and Iran markets, export of Armenian products to Tajikistan and Asian markets have been discussed during the meeting.
