On October 13, after the signing ceremony of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of the Republic of Armenia Suren Karayan and the Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan Shavkat Bobozoda visited textile production and carpet weaving companies.

During the visit, the activity of the companies was represented. The guests also got introduced to the Armenian products and gave high marks for their quality.

The sides stressed the importance of cooperation development between two countries in the field of trade and economy.

After touring through the factories, productive discussion on the development of mutually beneficial cooperation took place and new ways of cooperation have been outlined.
