On October 17, the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan received the representatives of “Toyota Europe” company.

Issues on technical regulations of the production within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union have been discussed, particularly terms of harmonization of technical regulations, satellite positioning systems, technical issues related to the fuel quality indicators.

The Minister Karayan mentioned that now activity is being implemented in the field of quality infrastructure. The sides discussed capabilities of business development. Suren Karayan represented investment opportunities, suggesting to establish factories in the Republic of Armenia that can provide a favorable investment opportunity.

The Director of “Toyota-Europe” company Daniel Rosenvasser assured that the suggestion of the Minister Karayan will be represented to the company administration to discuss the possibility to include it in the future investment projects.

At the end of the meeting the sides reaffirmed willingness to deepen cooperation.
