On October 27, the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan received the Team of Local Economy and Infrastructure Development Project (LEIDP) of the World Bank headed by Ahmed Eiweida.

Activity of LEIDP implemented after the last meeting with the Minister was introduced to Suren Karayan. Ahmed Eiweida mentioned that very effective discussions take place with the Head of Tourism State Committee Zarmine Zeitountsian and other officials. The Head of the team of Local Economy and Infrastructure Development Project (LEIDP) expressed confidence that everything possible is being done to carry out the relevant activity.

Minister Suren Karayan assured one more time that the tourism sector is very important for economic development of Armenia, the Ministry and the newly established Committee plan to carry out serious projects for implementation of which the Minister stressed the importance of cooperation with the World Bank and its support to Armenia.
