On October 27, International Jewelry and Watch Exhibition Yerevan Show (“JUNWEX֊ YEREVAN SHOW 2016”) is a 4 day event being held from 27th October to the 30th October 2016 at the Meridian Expo Centre in Yerevan, Armenia.

President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan attended the official opening of the “JUNWEX Yerevan show 2016” international jewelry expo in the “Meridian” expo center.

The Minister of Economic development and investments of RA Suren Karayan and President of the Armenian Jewellers Association (AJA) Gagik Gevorgyan opened the exhibition and delivered welcoming remarks.

Then President toured the exhibition, got acquainted with jewelry products of Armenian and foreign production, jewelry equipment, as well as activities and upcoming projects of the companies. This year for the 6th time the International Jewelry Exhibition, Yerevan Show, held by the Armenian Jewellers Association (AJA) will be in an updated format and called “JUNWEX Yerevan Show” as it has partnered with the largest Russian industrial media-holding corporation “RESTEC JUNWEX”.

The exhibition was attended by 80 companies from Armenia, Eurasian Economic Union member countries, USA, Canada, Lebanon, Thailand, Turkey and others. The exhibition center is located in the free economic jewelry zone, where businessmen are granted tax and customs privileges.

16 companies submitted applications to the Development Foundation of Armenia to participate in the exhibition. In order to support the participation in the exhibition, they were provided about 50% co-finance within the framework of export-oriented state program.
