Meeting with the representatives of logistic companies was held at the Ministry of Economic Development and investments of the RA. During the meeting the Minister Karayan offered to find solutions to the problems of transporters through regular meetings.

The Minister wondered about logistic problems, steps are being taken to diversify the market, as well as the activities of the Government to support the logistic companies.

According to the President of the Armenia's Union of logistic companies Makar Arakelyan, the meeting with the state institution is inspiring, because such meeting is being organized for the first time. Makar Arakelyan said that there are a lot of problems concerning the geographical location of the country, region as well as the economy.

The logistic companies raised issues related to railway transportation, exporting goods to different countries, joint transfers.

The companies promised to come up with appropriate proposals until the next meeting and the Ministry, in its turn, will report the activities carried on.
