Minister of Economic Development and Investments of the RA Suren Karayan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Arab Emirates to the Republic of Armenia H.E. Mr. Jassim Mohamed Al Qasemi.

Minister Karayan expressed gratitude to Ambassador for the meeting in his welcoming speech and expressed hope that such meetings will contribute to the implementation of the agreements reached within the framework of the Armenian President's visit to the UAE. The Minister expressed readiness to make efforts to deepen economic ties between Armenia and the UAE. Suren Karayan suggested launching the preparatory activities of the conference on Armenia's investment environment to be held in Dubai

The Ambassador Al Qasemi noted that the leadership of the UAE highly appreciated the RA President's visit. He also stressed the importance of cooperation with the Ministry in the context of Armenia-UAE economic relations.

The sides exchanged views on establishment of joint investment foundation and initiating projects of mutual interest.
