On December 8, the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan received the delegation headed by the Economy Minister of Artsakh Republic Andranik Khachatryan.

Minister Suren Karayan in his introductory remarks said that this meeting was arranging earlier in Stepanakert. It is first step towards more institutional cooperation.

The Economy Minister of Artsakh Republic Andranik Khachatryan raised the problems facing the Artsakh businessmen.

"It is very appropriate, that we met today in this format. I am sure that we will be able to solve existing problems",- said Minister Khachatryan .

The sides discussed issues related to tourism industry; among them is tourism promotion to Artsakh.

It was agreed to combine efforts for the development of routes Armenia-Artsakh for foreign tourists, to organize meetings for tour operators in this context. The participants of the meeting have also agreed to take steps to develop incoming tourism to Artsakh.

Suren Karayan has suggested also cooperating within the framework of joint investment projects, presenting investment attractiveness of Artsakh to foreign investors.
