RA Minister of Economic Development and Investments Suren Karayan met Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of Armenia Richard Mills.

Minister Suren Karayan highly appreciated the cooperation between the Ministry and the US Embassy and expressed readiness for its further develop.

"Our goal is to ensure the flow of foreign investments, and the US is one of our key partners in this regard. US's cooperation with Armenia in the economic sector is extensive. The support programs carried out in different sectors of economy are very productive",- said Minister Karayan .

Suren Karayan briefed the guests the public-private partnership dialogue platforms created by the Ministry, its activities and objectives. She noted that the Ministry makes every effort to make the business community's voices to be heard, their problems to be listened, as they are addressed to the sector's reforms.

Suren Karayan expressed readiness to continue close cooperation with the US Agency for International Development both in the framework of the public-private partnership or other programs.

"The Embassy looks forward to continuing its long and productive partnership with the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments. We look forward to jointly addressing the barriers to increased trade between our countries through our implementation of the Trade and Investment Framework Agreement (TIFA), such as strengthening the protection of Intellectual Property Rights in Armenia. We also stand ready to support Armenia with its tourism efforts, business promotion, and fight against corruption",- said the Ambassador Mills.
