Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Emil Tarasyan received Amir Mehedi Taheri Fardi and Muhammad Abdullah, the representatives of Iran's Cultural Heritage Handicrafts and Tourism Organization.

The meeting was attended by the Head of Tourism Development Policy Department Mekhak Apresyan, Head of International Economic Cooperation Department Armen Ayvazyan, Acting Head of Civil Aviation Policy and Economic Regulation Department Stephan Payaslyan.

Welcoming the guests Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Emil Tarasyan noted that the Armenian-Iranian relations have always been on a high level, but we need to strengthen and develop them.

The representatives of the Iranian side said, that the main purpose of their visit is to strengthen, intensify and develop existing relations.

During the meeting reference was made to expansion of the existing cooperation of tourism industry, formation of Armenia-Iran joint tourism product and possibilities to develop joint tourism packages, as well as a number of other issues.

The sides stressed the necessity of information exchange, participation in exhibitions be organized in Armenia and Iran, organization of study visits.
