On January 11, RA Minister of Economic Development and Investments Suren Karayan met a number of businessmen, among whom were representatives of mechanical engineering, non-metallic minerals industry, foodstuff, jewelry making sectors.

President of Armenian Domestic Manufacturers Union Vazgen Safaryan expressed gratitude to the Minister for cooperation with private sector. During the meeting the businessmen presented to the Minister issues, which concern them. The issues are mainly related to tax privileges, penalties, obligations, opportunities for subsidies.

The Minister urged to submit clear proposals related to their business for presenting appropriate foreign investors.

Minister Suren Karayan also familiarized the attendees with the Ministry's toolset of support and suggested to cooperate with SME Investments Universal Credit Organization.
