Suren Karayan received Irish businessman who implements activity in Armenia

On January 18, the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan received Irish businessman Michael Burke, who implements activity in Armenia in the field of pharmacy.

Minister Suren Karayan represented the opportunities and prospects to succeed in this field to the businessman. According to the Minister, the single market of pharmaceuticals of the EAEU which operates since January 1, 2017 plays a key role in the development of the sector and export promotion as it has facilitated drug registration process.

Michael Burke mentioned that he is interested in establishing pharmaceutical packaging company in Armenia.

Minister Suren Karayan said that the Ministry is ready to assist the businessman with its support tools and within the framework of “One Window” policy of the Development Foundation of Armenia. With the offer of Michael Burke cooperation will be launched with Ireland Enterprise and Ireland Development Agencies which have successful experience of cooperation with the Government, investors and entrepreneurs.
