In the presence of the Prime Minister of RA Karen Karapetyan and Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Medvedev, the RA Minister of Economic Development and Investments Suren Karayan and the RF Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov signed a memorandum of cooperation in Moscow, aimed at deepening bilateral cooperation.

The RA Minister of Economic Development and Investments Suren Karayan and the RF Minister of economic development Maxim Oreshkin signed another document on" The 2016-2021 program of interregional cooperation ". This program intends to

• implement interregional projects and joint projects, which have primary importance for the socio-economic development of the regions of two countries, including healthcare, education, science, culture and tourism sectors,

• create competitive joint enterprises, including production of high technology products,

• implement joint projects in the sphere of small and medium enterprises,

• launch information and other interaction systems

• implement effective cooperation in the spheres of employment and labor migration, territorial planning, competition policy, national politics, culture, science and education, mass media, book publishing, etc.

By the signed documents the parties agreed to implement a number of other steps, with the authorities of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation in accordance with the plan of actions of established Program.
