On February 20 Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan met the investor of "Ashtarak kat" rehabilitation program American businessman of Armenian origin Ara Asatryan.

Minister Suren Karayan noted that within his authority he is ready to contribute to solution of arising problems and implementation of the program.

"It is important that the production continues, as it provides jobs to more than 300 people, as well as relates to activities of a number of farming households " ,- said the Minister.

During the discussion the guests presented the problems caused by bankruptcy process of "Ashtarak Kat". Minister Suren Karayan offered to organize a tripartite meeting with the participation of the manager of the company, representatives of the investor and Ministry officials, to discuss possible versions of problems existing and to find effective solutions.

During the discussion the representatives of the investor informed that during the past three months about 65% debts of "Ashtarak Kat" have been extinguished.

To improve the production process devices were purchased about 50 million AMD.

American businessman of Armenian origin Ara Asatryan reiterated that he is ready to invest and stressed the importance of implementation of the company's proper production process.

"Now there are favorable conditions for the implementation of investments in Armenia",- said Ara Asatryan.
