Dried fruit and canned food producing will be expanded: Minister Karayan visited the factory

The Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of RA continues the monitoring of newly opened and expanding companies.

On March 1, Minister Suren Karayan visited “Aveliats” factory to get acquainted with production processes, problems and upcoming projects.

The company produces dried fruits, dehydrated vegetables, juices, jams. Director Tamara Tadevosyan mentioned that the product is being exported to Russia, European countries and the USA. The company already has orders from Arab countries also.

Minister Suren Karayan discussed upcoming projects with representatives of the company.

Director of “Aveliats” factory Tamara Tadevosyan mentioned that they plan to expand production, make investments and expect further cooperation with the state.

According to the Minister Suren Karayan, the Government is ready to support entrepreneurs who make investments to expand their businesses.

The Government has already given financial support to the company for 2 times by providing loans and subsidies equal to 3 percentage point.

Executive Director of the "SME Investments" UCO CJSC Arthur Badalyan mentioned that “Aveliats” factory is a successful example of a company starting business activity from zero which managed to make its products recognizable during 4 years not only in the local market but also to sign export contracts with foreign partners.
