On March 3, RA Government award 2016 in the in the field of quality of products and services was held.

The award ceremony was organized by the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of RA, National Institute of Standards CJSC and "National Trust" Council,.

The ceremony was attended by Emil Tarasyan, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments, Andrei Lotsmanov, First Deputy Chairman of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Committee on Technical regulation, Standardization and Conformity Assessment, Bogdan Topich, Vice-president of the European Committee for Standardization (CEN), President of Slovenian Institute for Standardization (SIST), Astghik Khachatryan, President of the National Trust Council, Yenok Azaryan, Director of the National Institute of Standards, representatives of the award-winning companies, as well as representatives of several large and medium enterprises in Armenia.

The ceremony was also attended by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan.

By the Prime Minister's N 109decision of 2017-02-09 prizes were awarded to following organizations;

The awards were handed by the Deputy Minister of Economic development and investments of RA Emil Tarasyan.

Joint assessment Committee composed of experts from National Institute of Standards and National Trust Council awarded special prizes to selected organizations for a significant role and active participation in the field of standardization.
