Armenia and France to cooperate in tourism sector

On March 8, Armenia’s Minister of Economic Development and Investments Suren Karayan and French Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development Jean Marc Ayrault signed a memorandum in Paris through which they agreed on contributing to the development and strengthening of cooperation between Armenia and France in the tourism sector.

In particular, Armenia and France initiate:

-Exchange of skills and experience in spheres of common interest

-Improvement of hosting and security conditions for tourists in both countries

-Mutually promoting tourism destinations through media, involvement of tourism agencies and presentation of tourism routes

-Thematic cooperation development in tourism sector, in particular, in the felds of culture, ecotourism, professional education, mountainous tourism and rural tourism

-Promotion of mutual investments and cooperation between private tourism sectors of two countries

-Mutual promotion of handicraft, cultural and artistic products of two countries within the frames of local and national events

-Every activity on strengthening the bilateral cooperation on tourism affairs, as well as the professional education, digital technologies or air communication.
