On March 27, the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan received the owner of Czech “Foodish s.r.o.” company Karen Sargsyan. The company is engaged in importing, packaging of processed agricultural products, as well as in wholesale trade by cooperating with the major networks of the Czech Republic. The businessman informed the Minister that the company exports canned food from Armenia to the European market since 2016.

Karen Sargsyan mentioned that they plan to increase the products exported to the Europe, expand their activity in Armenia and the cooperation circles with the Armenian companies. The businessman added that they also plan to create logistics centers.

Minister Suren Karayan stressed the importance of logistics centers for Armenian businessmen in Armenia and Europe, adding that the Ministry is ready to assist on this issue. The Minister represented to the businessman the current support tools for carrying out an activity in Armenia which can boost and facilitate business. Suren Karayan expressed readiness to cooperate with the company aimed at implementing its plans.
