On March 31, the First Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Garegin Melkonyan and Deputy Minister Hovhannes Azizyan received the delegation of International Monetary Fund (IMF) composed of IMF Mission Chief to Armenia Hossein Samiei, Resident Representative for Armenia Teresa Daban Sanchez and IMF economists.

The main goal of the Mission is to discuss a number of issues related to economic policy.

Issues on the implementation of investment policy, initialled Armenia - EU Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement (CEPA), EU macroeconomic and financial support, etc. have been discussed.

The sides discussed the steps and expected results for the creation of investment funds, economic development results of Armenia and expected tendencies.

During the meeting, Deputy Ministers gave detailed comments on all questions.
