The Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan received the representatives of light industry sector to discuss sector development problems.

Minister mentioned that light industry has great potential to develop and is very important in terms of employment ensuring. The participants of the meeting represented future plans and expansion opportunities to the Minister.

Minister Suren Karayan offered the representatives of the sector to present their investment program to the Ministry to discuss possible solutions and format of state support.

The representatives of textile companies discussed problems of the sector with the Minister including education and training of specialists, issues on the import of raw materials, etc.
