On April 17, Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan received USAID Armenia Mission Director Deborah Grieser.

Suren Karayan in his speech said, that USAID is an important partner for the development of Armenia's economy and a number of successful joint projects have been recorded.

The Minister added that he expects strengthening and deepening of cooperation in outlined directions.

USAID Armenia Mission Director Deborah Grieser noted. "USAID and the Ministry have a long history of cooperation and USAID looks forward to continue to work with the Ministry in the areas of mutual interest".

Minister Karayan and Deborah Grieser discussed cooperation of USAID and Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of RA, possibilities of public-private partnership, process of USAID Assistance Agreement between RA Government and USAID, as well as issues related to the development of Armenia's tourism sector.
