Zarmine Zeitountsian, Chairperson of State Tourism Committee of Armenia’s Ministry of Economic Development and Investments summed up the results of the visit to Moscow and the events organized there during a press conference.

The purpose of the visit and events was to introduce the tourist attractions and contribute to the development of Armenian-Russian cooperation in tourism sector.

During the presentation on Armenia’s tourism opportunities a lottery was held. ”The author of a photo, who collects the most likes with EnjoyArmenia hashtag, will have a chance to visit Armenia" , said Zarmine Zeitountsian, Chairperson of State Tourism Committee of Armenia’s Ministry of Economic Development and Investments during the meeting with representatives of mass media.

She also informed, that from March 31 to April 1, with cooperation of the Armenian Embassy in the Russian Federation Armenian cuisine culture was presented, a tasting of foods and alcoholic beverages was held during the Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy in Moscow.

Artistic director of "Karin" ethnic song and dance ensemble Gagik Ginosyan presented the Armenia dance to guests.

With the participation of "Photo Atelier Marashlyan" Armenian traditional costumes (taraz) were presented, exhibition of photos was organized.

The presentation of tourism result of Armenia and Artsakh was held during the Exhibition of Achievements of the National Economy in Moscow with the participation of representatives of Russia’s Federal Agency for Tourism, Russian tour operators and media representatives. The presentation aimed at increasing Armenia’s recognition and boosting tourism result.

"A number of Armenian travel agencies offer a variety of tour packages to Armenia ", added Zarmine Zeitountsian, Chairperson of State Tourism Committee of Armenia’s Ministry of Economic Development and Investments at the end of the meeting.

In the framework of Russian popular TV program Armenia’s tourism result and attractions will be presented. This is a perfect chance to contribute to further increasing Armenia’s reputation within Russians.
