On April 26, the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan received Kuwaiti investor Charles Hyder who wants to invest in Armenia’s construction sector, particularly in road construction.

The Minister discussed with Charles Hyder the investments necessary for the construction of North-South road corridor, the possible ways for its implementation and suggested to discuss the cooperation prospects with the Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies of RA.

The Kuwaiti investor expressed his interest on new programs of energy sector in Armenia. He expressed his support for inviting his partners to Armenia in order to make investments in various sectors.

Minister Karayan mentioned, “I suggest you to visit the website of the Ministry investmentprojects.am which provides necessary information about Armenia’s investment environment and existing investment programs. We are ready to discuss each program in-details with you and your partners.”

Charles Hyder expressed gratitude for the effective discussion and added, “I am happy to see your Government’s policy towards the field of investments. The positive changes in investment environment are obvious. The Republic of Armenia really has a great potential to attract foreign investments.”
