On May 16, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Hovhannes Azizyan received delegation headed by the Chairman of Belgian-Armenian Chamber of Commerce Valéry Safarian.
The delegation was composed by numerous businessmen from Belgium, Democratic Republic of Congo, Vietnam, etc.
Valéry Safarian represented activity of Belgian-Armenian Chamber of Commerce, mentioning that the main goal of the Chamber is to activate Belgian-Armenian business cooperation and contribute to the realization of the investment intentions of entrepreneurs. During the visit to Armenia, the businessmen will have the opportunity to represent their ideas, as well as learn what programs may be implemented in Armenia.
Greeting the guests, Hovhannes Azizyan mentioned that the Ministry stresses the importance of attracting investments and is ready to discuss every interesting and mutually beneficial suggestion.
CEO of Congolese company Jean-Robert Isifua mentioned that he is interested in the prospect of developing economic relations between Armenia and Congo.
Gricha Safarian who is included in chocolate production and implements activity also in Vietnam mentioned that he wants to implement activity in the Armenian market.
The representative of the Department of Investment Attraction and Coordination of the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of RA Aram Vardanyan delivered a presentation “Investments in Armenia” and represented investment opportunities in Armenia, business environment, export opportunities, trade regimes, opportunities to launch activity in the free economic zones.
On May 17, B2B session and press conference organized by Belgian-Armenian Chamber of Commerce will take place in Yerevan.
