On May 18, a round-table on "Within the framework of Eurasian Economic Union the prospects of cooperation in the field of jewelry and precious metals with the representatives of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia" was held.
The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Hovhannes Azizyan, Deputy Minister of Finance of RA Karen Tamazyan, Adviser to the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Gagik Mkrtchyan, President of Armenian Jewellers Association Emil Grigoryan, Armenia’s trade representative in Russia Karen Asoyan, Chairman of Russia’s Assay Chamber Alexander Markin, First Deputy Chairman of Russia’s Assay Chamber Dmitry Zamishlyayev, Secretary-General of the "Association of Jewelers of the Eurasian Economic Union" Vadim Serov, President of "Jewelry House Russia" organization Hrach Avagyan, main jeweler of the Russian patriarch, as well as heads and representatives of large companies in the jewelry industry of two countries.
The round-table discussion was aimed at discussing the issues of mutual recognition of hallmarks of jewelry products in the EAEU area, as well as activation of public-private cooperation.
The round-table discussion was organized by the Association of Jewelers of the Eurasian Economic Union and Armenia’s trade representative in Russia.
