On June 2, a meeting on social package recreation providing services took place at the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of the Republic of Armenia. A number of issues on recreation providing services have been discussed during the meeting.

The discussion was run by the First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism of the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of RA Mekhak Apresyan. Mekhak Apresyan mentioned in his speech, “The recommended measures will contribute to improving the transparency and efficiency of recreation providing services, possible abuse prevention, facilitation of tourism operators activity, reporting system improvement.”

The discussion was attended by the representatives from the Government of RA, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, hotels and by a number of tour operators.
