Negotiations between EAEU and Iran have launched in Tehran

On June 13-14, delegation headed by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Hovhannes Azizyan participated in the negotiations and consultations on temporary free trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union and the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tehran.

During the consultations the sides discussed the draft agreement, which was amended by the parties and, in general, was conformed.

The agricultural and industrial goods lists under the Agreement have also been discussed and the parties offered to apply tariff preferences for them.

At the end of consultations, the parties agreed to continue discussions in order to sign the temporary agreement in near future.
