On July 5, the first meeting of the Armenian-Iranian operative group on investment and trade took place.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Hovhannes Azizyan and the Deputy Minister of Industry, Mines and Trade of Iran Mojtaba Khosrowtaj.

During the meeting, the format of the further activities of the operative group, the scope of objectives and the steps to be taken have been discussed. The sides underlined the importance of broader coverage and publicizing of the group's activities.

The parties reached an arrangement to organize group sessions at least every two weeks.
