The position of Armenia in the Global Competitiveness Index for 2017-2018 Action Plan has been approved

Today the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan presented the Action Plan of Armenia in the Global Competitiveness Index for 2017-2018.

In the Global Competitiveness Index of 2016-2017, Armenia ranks 79th with a score of 4.1 out of 138 countries. Compared to previous year, the position improved to 3 places. Armenia is the 6th among the rated CIS countries (including Georgia).

Armenia will also contribute to the improvement of Armenia's long-term systemic long-term system reforms, expanding export markets and increasing efficiency in the public administration system.

The event program includes 36 events that will be implemented in 2017-2018. By the end of 2018, a new program of events will be formulated based on the results of this program and the Global Competitiveness Report.
