On July 20, the Chairperson of the State Committee for Tourism Zarmine Zeitountsian received the Tourism Division representative of South Korea In Yong Cho and Tourism Association representative Si Yan Chu.
Greeting the guests, Chairperson of the State Committee for Tourism represented the Committee Strategy.
A presentation about Armenia's tourism opportunities and tourism outcomes has been represented to the representatives of the delegation. A number of issues on strengthening the further cooperation between Armenia and South Korea in the field of tourism have been discussed.
The sides also touched upon issues of organizing familirization trips between the two countries, organizing mutual familirization trips for tourism experts and journalists, as well as cooperation opportunities between Armenia and South Korea's private sector representatives.
South Korea is interested in cultural, cognitive, religious and health tourism in Armenia.
According to representatives of the delegation, the Koreans are interested in the discovering new tourism destinations, and Armenia is properly for them.
