On July 22-24, the State Committee for Tourism of the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of RA jointly with the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Artsakh organized a familiarization trip to Artsakh for the representatives of Armenian mass media within the framework of “Discover Your Country for Yourself” campaign.

A number of excursions to the main tourism destinations in Artsakh were organized for 8 representatives of 5 Armenian media companies, information was provided on Artsakh tourism potential, museums operating in Artsakh, state historical, cultural and natural heritage sites, hotel facilities and other destinations in the field of tourism to prepare materials and represent them to tourists.

The visit of media representatives was designed according to the features of Artsakh's tourism development potential.

The participants of the visit witnessed and participated in the Vardavar celebration organized in Tigranakert and got acquainted with the possibilities of event tourism in Artsakh.

The visit organized by the State Committee for Tourism of the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of RA and the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Artsakh for the representatives of Armenian mass media was the first within the framework of “Discover Your Country for Yourself” campaign of the Committee.
