On August 27, the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan visited construction site of “Syunik Food” company to get acquainted with the process of investment program implementation.

The Minister was informed that the construction activity is coming to its end and the production will soon be launched.

During the project it is planned to create about 20 main and about 210 seasonal workplaces.

Nearly 60% of production is planned to export to EAEU countries, Georgia, EU and the USA.

By the decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, the company has been exempted from imported equipment and raw customs and has received VAT payment extension.
