On the eve of September 1, taking into consideration the sharp increase of demand for certain products for children and adolescents, as well as the problem raised by NGOs, there are numerous cases in the Armenian market when goods are sold without quality certification, the Inspection Body for Market Surveillance of the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of RA announces that the problem is in the spotlight of the inspection body and it will take a special place in the next year's inspection program. Inspection Body for Market Surveillance urges the economic entities to follow the technical regulations of the sector and eliminate the existing shortcomings.
Stressing the safety of you and your children, we apply to consumers with a high demand for quality certification, state registration, declaration from the seller.
Pay attention to the availability of the Armenian marking, which should contain the following information:
• the name of the country producing the product;
• the name and location of the manufacturer (the authorized person), the importer, the distributor;
• the name and type of product(s);
• date of manufacture;
• product expiration date (if applicable);
• warranty period of use (if applicable);
• single sign of circulation in the market;
• a trademark (if any).
It is particularly important to be attentive to the following information on the labeling: what type of product is intended for the age group, what material is manufactured of, and how to use it.
