The culture of Armenian regions and Artsakh will be represented at the “Cultural Revival Festival”

On September 5, a press conference on “Cultural Revival” Pan-Armenian festival of arts and crafts took place at “Novosti Armenia” press center.

The speakers of the press conference were the First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Tourism of the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of RA Mekhak Apresyan, Mayor of Dilijan Armen Santrosyan, President of Culture and Tourism Promotion Foundation Mariam Minasyan.

During the press conference the objectives, conditions and agenda of the festival were represented.

“The festivals contribute to the solution of a number of state policy issues, tourism development in communities. They attract tourists to rural communities, provide economic activity, enable communities to represent their capabilities by opening new economic opportunities,” said Mekhak Apresyan.

Within the framework of the festival exclusive, even museum samples, decorative and applied arts works, pottery, ceramics, woodworking, as well as national cuisine will be presented.

Mayor of Dilijan Armen Santrosyan, in his turn, noted that Dilijan, as a touristic city, had special areas of activity, but such festivals activated tourism in the whole city.

During the festival, individual pavilions of Armenia and Artsakh will be provided with technical equipment /computers, posters and other means/ to present local attractions and infrastructures.

“Cultural Revival” Pan-Armenian festival of arts and crafts will take place on September 9, in Dilijan.
