On September 9, the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan participated in “Cultural Revival” Pan-Armenian festival of arts and crafts in Dilijan.
The Minister toured the pavilions and got acquainted with the exceptional samples of the carpet art displayed in the festival, pottery, ceramics, woodworking, national cuisine, etc.
During the event the culture of the Regions of Armenia and Artsakh has been represented, particularly, songs, dances, national instruments, as well as tourism potential.
“Such Pan-Armenian events implemented outside of Yerevan, are a stimulus for the development of tourism. As we have noticed, both Armenians from Diaspora and tourists are here today. The craftsmanship and art samples of the Regions of Armenia and Artsakh are represented here. These festivals promote both domestic and foreign tourism. It is also important to increase internal recognition among the provinces, people find out what wonderful places we have in the country,” said Suren Karayan.
“Cultural Revival” Pan-Armenian festival of arts and crafts has been organized by Media Onix company, the Culture and Tourism Promotion Foundation with the support of the State Committee for Tourism of the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of RA.
