The Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan received the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Iraq Falah Hassan Zeidan to discuss the agenda of economic cooperation between Armenia and Iraq.

During the meeting the sides discussed the improvement of the legal field for the attraction of bilateral investments and trade promotion.

Minister Karayan represented investment environment reforms being implemented in Armenia. The Minister offered the Iraqi side to consider Armenia as a platform for entry into the Eurasian market.

The sides also touched upon the possibilities of developing cooperation in the field of tourism between the two countries. Falah Hassan Zeidan mentioned that Armenia can be very attractive and interesting for tourists from Iraq with its historic and picturesque tourist destinations.
