The Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan received the Minister of Trade and Industry of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov and the Minister of Industry of Belarus Vitaly Vovk.

Issues on the establishment of joint industrial cooperation were on the agenda of the ministerial meeting. The parties stressed that it is necessary to combine the industrial potential of the EAEU countries by creating production.

The Ministers expressed willingness to assist the businessmen from EAEU countries in establishing cooperation. The prerequisites for joint activities in free economic zones, particularly in the free economic zone “Meghri” have also been discussed.

Suren Karayan, Denis Manturov and Vitaly Vovk also touched upon the prospect of common export from EAEU to the third countries.

At the end of the meeting, the Ministers expressed readiness to meet and discuss the EAEU general industrial issues in the most frequent format.
