The Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan received the representatives of “Vnesheconombank” Russia Daniil Algulyan, Aleksey Gorkov and Sergey Durnopianov.

The ways of expanding cooperation have been discussed during the meeting.

Minister Karayan emphasized that the joint programs should be aimed at ensuring replacement of imports within the Eurasian Economic Union and export to third countries.

An arrangement has been reached with the representatives of “Vnesheconombank”, according to which the bank will provide affordable offers for Russian mining, agricultural, construction and utility machinery as a result of subsidization to use them in the Armenian economy.

Subsidized resources will also be provided for investments in Armenia in strategically important areas, including venture projects.

It is planned to sign a cooperation agreement with "SME Investments" UCO in the near future to pursue the achieved agreements.
