With the support of the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), within the framework of the project “Assistance to SME Development in Armenia” implemented under the co-financing of the European Union, the Ministry of Economic Development and Investments of RA initiated mapping of the innovation ecosystem and the development of innovation system strategy.

On October 13, the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan received international experts of the project Daniel Kosnitani and Michael Guf.

The Minister stressed the importance of the modern innovation strategy and the measures developed on its basis in terms of predicting the competitiveness of the Armenian economy and the ways to achieve it.

The goals and objectives of the project implementation, the results of discussions with representatives of public and private sectors, scientific and technological community and international donor organizations have been briefly represented during the meeting of Suren Karayan and Emil Tarasyan with international experts of GIZ project Daniel Kosnitani and Michael Guf.

The Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan wished success to the project.
