Suren Karayan received the Minister of Economy of Kyrgyzstan

On October 25, the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan received the Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic Artem Novikov.

Minister Karayan noted that there is huge activity to implement to expand the Armenian-Kyrgyz economic cooperation, as the current trade turnover rates and volumes are not satisfactory for both sides.

The Minister of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic Artem Novikov expressed gratitude to Suren Karayan for the meeting and mentioned that the economies of two countries have a number of similarities, and in this context there is a serious potential for cooperation.

The parties agreed to establish a roadmap for economic cooperation. The Armenian side expressed readiness to support the Kyrgyz Republic to access EU GSP+ trade regime sharing its own experience.

The sides also expressed readiness to support each other and deepen cooperation in the integration units, in particular within the framework of the EAEU.
