The Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan received the famous restaurateur from Russia, chef and TV host Aram Mnatsakanov and CEO of the Armenian “Yeremyan Projects” company David Yeremyan.

Issues related to the development of restaurant business in Armenia have been discussed during the meeting. Armenian tourism officials discussed with the guests the potential impact of restaurant business on incoming tourism growth.

Suren Karayan noted that Armenia has a serious potential for the development of gastronomic tourism in Armenia, discussing the opportunities to develop Yerevan as a center for gastro-tourism.

The parties agreed to take joint measures to organize new events in this direction next year, also undertaking relevant marketing campaigns.
