The Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan received the delegation headed by the Deputy Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus Dmitry Korchik. The delegation was composed of the representatives of various Belarusian companies.

Issues related to Armenian-Belarusian economic cooperation have been discussed during the meeting. The sides touched upon the implementation of existing agreements, including cooperation with the Development Bank of Belarus. It was noted that the representatives of the bank will visit Armenia during the next months in order to strengthen cooperation with the Armenian Development and Investments Corporation.

Export opportunities to third countries, opportunities delivered in “Meghri” free economic zone, the establishment of industrial cooperation and a number of other agenda issues have been discussed,

Suren Karayan and Dmitry Korchik discussed with the participants of the meeting the details of the visit of the business delegation, issues related to organizing the necessary meetings. Minister Karayan expressed hope that the visit will be effective in terms of expanding Armenian-Belarusian economic cooperation.

A group of businessmen from Belarus will have meetings with government officials and private companies to discuss opportunities for cooperation in the field of transport and agricultural machinery.
