On March 5, the Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan received the Lebanese investor Nicola Abu Faisal. The businessman shared his business plans with the Minister. According to Nicola Abu Faisal, Armenia is a very favorable country for investments. The businessman added that he advises all his foreign partners to invest in Armenia.
The company headed by Nicola Abu Faisal is engaged in the production of pecan nuts in Armenia. In the first phase of the project, 30000 pecan nut trees will be planted on a 100 hectare area. Besides the agricultural projects, the investor is also planning to implement a tourism program. The programs are planned to be implemented in Yeghvard and Bagratashen. Nicola Abu Faisal mentioned that he wants to expand its business plans over the next few years. The businessman noted that the support and investment promotion policy of the Ministry and the Government is very encouraging.
Minister Suren Karayan welcomed the businessman's projects and noted that the Ministry is always ready to support in attracting new investments and implementing projects, as well as discussing the details of investment programs.
