“The upcoming session of the Armenian-American Trade and Investment Council on March 19 reaffirms the commitment of the United States to deepen trade and investment relations with Armenia. We already see progress, in particular, by 2017, 42% growth of trade turnover has been registered. This high-level meeting after the visit of the Principal Deputy Assistant to the Secretary of the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Economics and Business Affairs Brian McFeeters to Armenia is another progressive step within the framework of our dialogue aimed at eliminating obstacles of trade and investment between our two countries,” said the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the Republic of Armenia Richard Mills.
“During the session, we will discuss existing regulations, considering trade facilitation opportunities, which, of course, will promote trade between our countries. We will also represent our investment environment and the activity implemented to improve it. We will also discuss with the American side the events that will make Armenia's investment climate more attractive for American companies,” mentioned Hovhannes Azizyan.
