The Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan received the delegation of International Monetary Fund (IMF) headed by Hossein Samiei.

During the meeting IMF program has been discussed, which is unique, taking into consideration the development of Armenian economy. The sides mentioned that the new nature of the program could serve as a positive impetus for investors.

The Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan mentioned the economic growth recorded in 2017 and stressed the importance of continuity of reforms. According to the Minister, the International Monetary Fund is a permanent partner in these processes. The continuity of the reforms was particularly highlighted in terms of ensuring higher economic growth indicators in the future.
