The Minister of Economic Development and Investments of RA Suren Karayan received the delegation headed by the Global Product Specialist for Europe and Central Asia in the Finance, Competitiveness, and Innovation of the World Bank Group Damien Shiels.

Suren Karayan mentioned in his speech, “We have a long-term and effective cooperation with the International Finance Corporation, particularly in the sectors of business environment, investment climate and tourism industry. In the context of implemented reforms, these are key areas.”

During the meeting, the new program on investment environment reforms which will be implemented by the International Finance Corporation in Armenia has been discussed. The sides touched upon the directions of advisory support, issues of attracting foreign investments, measures to improve business environment and export promotion opportunities.
